Updated late September 2003

Sept 9, 2003:  Still the CAL World tag team champion after winning the title, and defending in TIW!  Check it out, cause it rules! ONLY on the BWWa sub page!

June 7th, 2003.   Just a little update on Wilde Tanke, who's currently in the Big West Wrestling Alliance.   He started as a tag team partner to Tommy Rogue, but Rogue was quickly replaced with Stan Grubb.  Grubb then turned on Wilde, leading Wilde to end up teaming with Penelope Skene as Mind Skew.

November 13, 2002.  APWA long ago became the Mid South Wrestling Alliance.  Wilde Tanke has been MSWA's Smoky Mountain Heritage champion for a while now, although he originally refused to honor the name change, and continued referring to himself as the MSWA Commuter's Heritage champion, feeling that the the NWCW Heritage was what made the title what it was.  Check out his current updates on my MSWA sub section!

June 5, 2002.  Ok, so it's been a bit over a month.  Almost two.  Wilde's a member of the APWA now.  He's set to take on NWCW1/2 superstar Fudge in an anticipated matchup on th next episode of APWA Memphis Championship Wrestling, the weekly APWA tv show.

May 11, 2002.   I recently pulled Wilde from IWA to put in him NWCW's final days.   I plan to take him to APWA along with Jeff Duane soon. Where he'll go there. . . . well, some of that's still a secret. =0)

March 22, 2002.  Monthly update.  Lol.  Wilde Tanke is currently OUT of the PTC tournament, and is on a short break from IWA wrestling, although not the cards, due to injury!  He hurt his hand in a bit of a temper tantrum.  Check out Wilde's IWA bio here!  I've even got a fantasy Wilde Tanke W/A card here.

Feb 24, 2002.  Currently a member of IWA, Wilde Tanke is signed to a match in a Primetime Network tournament!  There were 128 wrestlers starting it off.  Wilde was byed into round two, taking the place of a wrestler who no showed.  He also recently defeated his brother Luigi in a shootfight match in XFA, and lost the NWCW Tappen Zee Tag team titles on the NWCW and KWF co produced Friday Night Lightning!  Wilde's first IWA opponent with be a returning IWA'er:  TwYsT! March 3, 2002.   Here's Wilde's first roleplay, and co roleplay with Tiger Akuma, for the PTC!

Feb 19, 2002.  It's probably time I start updating these pages more. :)  Wilde is a former CAL World tag team champion now.  I'm hoping to add those pages to these very soon.  He won the titles with his uncle, Ace Tanke!  See the match here!  Wilde and Ace lost the titles, but are current NWCW Tappan Zee tag team champions.

September 26, 2001.   Whoa, that was a while ago. Right now, after losing a MSW tag team match, Wilde went back to being inactive, while I focus on Ace Tanke and Jeff Duane in NWCW, and Faze and Mindoa in Toonopolis.

May 2001 - I'll have to add some updates soon, since Wilde starts in MSW soon!  I've taken the pictures down, since they haven't worked for some time.  Ohwell.

Keep an eye here. even though I'm busy with NWCW (Currently dead), I want to add an occasional update, if and when I can.   - J

April 2001   -   Not been a year already, has it?  Wow.

Anyway, I've added the first federation Wilde's ever been in.  See below, under the EWCW banner, for information on it, and Mike D's IWCW, Wilde's first ever federation.

April 2000:  Check it out!  New look!  I've totally redesigned this page, to point to pages devoted to individual pages for most of the federation's Wilde's been a force in!  Although not everyone got it's own page, matches and roleplays from other federations will be kept in a separate section.

Now that I'm out of ewrestling, I'm really honestly planning to keep this page updated on a more regular basis.  I can't believe YouthFul Image is long since dead.  I've got several page designs up to link the matches from.  Please check back often, and make sure to try out my online N64 store. :-)

Oh, the plans for the sub pages.  I'm going to be occasionally uploading new versions, so keep an eye out.  It'll be an over view with links to matches and roleplays.  When I get that done for each federation, I plan to go along and add more sub pages on individual topics that are too minor in the big picture to put in the main page, but worth retelling.  (At least in my mind, they are.)

The history of Shades of Grey as it relates to the Suicidal Ones is one such item.  Wilde's relation with his uncle would be another.

The Association of Fantasy Wrestlers was a lot of firsts for me that were really seconds.  Although it was the second federation I ever joined, it was the first one that wrote it's cards out, and the first Wilde stayed in really long term.  I think almost a year before it folded, and he represented AFW in NWICW a few months after it closed.  It was also the second federation that I was president of, but it was the first one that people roleplayed consistently.  In other words, the first non sucky federation I was in and the first non sucky federation I eventually ran. :-)  No offense to Mike and Stan's IWCW, and Robert D's EWCW.

I won more titles in this federation than any other as well, despite talented roleplayers and a character that pretty much sucked on TNM, for which it was run most of it's life.  It was originally simmed on WLS, on which Wilde did better.  The roleplays tended to be short, although if you follow this copy of the federation's roleplay history, you can see it gradually improve over time.  AFW saw the birth of Wilde's Afterlife persona as well.

This lists a bunch of tightly related federations.  Mike D's IWCW is where I got started.  It later split up into the NWICW, and NAWA, also located here.  Additionally, I'm including a federation I ran, EWCW, here.  I ran it with Robert D while we were in IWCW.  I'm also including any versions of these federations, and W2K (EWCW's evolved form, it might happen someday), that ever end up in here from later on in history.

The oldest stuff is gonna go here.

Sin City Championship Wrestling.  Wilde stayed in it longer than he has any other federation, and under different circumstances, he might still be there today.  It was his first of an eventual two NWC regions he would call home.  Like AFW, I joined early in it's history and like AFW, I would eventually make a brief run as president that would then catapult it through numerous fed head changes.  He held the Sin City Championship Wrestling cruiserweight title for three months and a week before I jobbed him to Cold Fire, to try to help CF get more over.  Old Wilde Tanke bio just added here.

Current site.

Bluegrass State Wrestling was the last federation Wilde's been in.  It was also the federation that retired him.  Wilde Tanke got some pretty quick title shots and even wore the Prime Time championship for some time. As noted on the page, most of his time in the federation was involved in the life and death of YouthFul Image.  I even got Rebecca Tanke a couple of matches there.  Wilde served as Vice President for a while as well.  It closed down, and was replaced by Hollywood Championship Wrestling.
The federation I started, New Wave Chicago Wrestling, and the federation it later became, New Westchester County Wrestling, are both included in this one!  It's where I'm at as of this writing.  I think that's one of the NWCW logos I did.  Ace Tanke and Jeff Duane were/ are my main focus in the federation, although Wilde and Ace won both NWCW Tappan Zee and CAL World tag team title gold here.
NWCW II started out under the guide of Mike Jiran, who had my help.  A little later, I took over the federation, and a white after that, we merged into a new federation known as APWA, to give it membership into the Coalition of Affiliated Leagues.  Yet one more major change; APWA was renamed MSWA a little later on after some strange events in a Coalition event.  Several of our members ran through APWA and/ or MSWA at one point or another, some lasting longer than others, and quite honestly, none lasting as long as, nor having such an impact as Wilde Tanke.  Mace, a MSWA brawler, is being mentioned here for no real reason, other than to link his biopage.  (Or as we so lovingly know it, the Ultimate Mace Expose.)  It is currently undergoing a transformation into CSWA - Central States Wrestling Association.
New Attitude Wrestling, formerly New Wave Wrestling.  Due to some very unfortunate legal circumstances, it has been renamed NAW.  A much better name, anyway, in my opinion.  I've recently joined it.  This is Stan Grubb's federation.  It's best called a combination of an efederation and a virtual federation.  Check it out, won't you?  NA (New Attitude) Entertainment hosts both NAW, and my new comicbook fan fiction project, Connundrum Comics!  Wilde didn't last long, but here's a link to the NAW.
Other Wilde stuff   Other federations.  Fancy logo aside, there's not much in this category.  Wilde's been in several federations, and not all of them were long term.  I've also done site exclusives for my old Geocities site, which I should redo some time soon.  I'll put that on my long term plans. :-)  (Actually, I'm working on a huge links page for the Geocities site.  You might wanna check it out.  Or not.)
Big West   LOTS of things in THIS one, however!  The CAL took to Las Vegas, and the results were rather awesome!  Peaking as the top CAL federation after the departure of NPW, things are going slow, but that might be because it's got the top title holders in the CAL.  Wilde arrived just in time to partner with Tommy Rogue in what proved to be Rogue's last match.   Wilde then teamed up with Stan Grubb, until Grubb turned on Wilde.  Finally, Wilde ended up with Penelope Skene, with the two going on to became CAL World tag team champions!
